This article is intended for HelloTeam users with ADMIN Access Level


Please find below the customizations that can be applied or optional tools that you can utilize.


Teams

  • Ability to build custom teams within the system. These teams can be utilized for team goals, as well as additional grouping when setting visibility or launching a review/survey/news & events.

  • Please keep in mind, these teams do not automatically update when employee records change. This is a manual update.

  • For team goals, we can give team leads the access to create them. By default, it is just for admins.

  • If you decide to not use teams, we can remove the team goals tab to avoid confusion. It could be turned back on at any time.

Steps to Create Team

  1. Organization tab on the left hand side.

  2. Teams.

  3. Add Team in the top right hand corner.

  4. Add a title and select the employees.


High Fives

Option to change the name of High Fives.

  1. Organization on the left hand side menu.

  2. Recognition tab.

  3. High Fives tab at the top.

Option to add tags to High Fives. Tags can be selected when anyone is giving out recognition. An example would be core values or company objectives.

  4. Manage Tags in the top right hand corner.


Suggestion Tags

  • Similar to High Five tags, you can create tags for suggestions that are sent in through our digital suggestion box (green box next to the directory at the top). These suggestions can help you organize them in your manage suggestions tab.

  1. Manage Suggestions on the left hand side menu.

  2. Manage Tags in the top right hand corner. Option to make them mandatory.


Custom Fields

  • If you want to add an additional field to everyone's profile, we can add a custom field. This will appear under everyone's headshot on their profile and will be an open text field for them to provide their response. Custom fields can be exported.

  1. Organization on the left hand side menu.

  2. Settings.

  3. Custom Fields at the top.


Company 1x1 Templates

  • When scheduling a 1x1 in the system, it is required to select a template. Anyone can create their own templates but they do have the option to select a company template as well.

  1. Organization on the left hand side menu.

  2. Settings.

  3. One on Ones tab at the top.

  4. + Add Template in the top right hand corner.


Skill Ranks

  • By default, the skills section on profiles have 3 ranks (Beginner, intermediate and advanced). These can be updated by following the below steps.

  1. Organization on the left hand side menu.

  2. Skills and Ranks.

  3. Ranks tab at the top.

  4. Click the arrow to move them around, pencil icon to edit the title and option to add more in the top right hand corner.


Badges

  • Option to build out custom badges in the system. Badges will live on the employee's profile in the top right hand corner.

  • By default, only admins can give out badges. This permission can be granted to anyone if needed.

  1. Organization on the left hand side menu.

  2. Recognition tab.

  3. In the badges tab, click Create Company Badge in the top right hand corner.
