Steps to Approve your Employees Goals
The process of Approving Employee Goals will generally occur in the beginning of the year or quarter, when Goals are discussed and established between Manager/Employee. A great time to discuss these Goals is during a scheduled One on One. Employees cannot edit a Goal once it has been approved. They can update a Goal to capture progress throughout the year or quarter.
1. From the Goals tab under an employee profile (see below), click the dropdown arrow to the right of the completion percentage.
2. Click Approve Goal under the Manage portion of the dropdown.
3. A check mark will appear to the left of the Goal title to confirm it has been Approved.
Steps to Lock your Employees Goals
The process of Locking Employee Goals will generally occur at the end of the year or quarter in anticipation of Year-End Performance Reviews. Once Locked, Goals are finalized in the platform and can no longer be edited or updated.
1. From the Goals tab under an employee profile (see above), click the dropdown arrow to the right of the completion percentage.
2. Click Lock Goal under the Manage portion of the dropdown.
3. A closed lock will appear to the left of the Goal title to confirm it has been Locked.
